We’ve been away for a couple of nights and just got back yesterday. We caught up with friends along the way then went to a (horse) endurance ride and caught up with more friends.
We took photos at the ride but it drizzled most of the day which was good in a way as it meant we didn’t have hundreds of photos to process like we usually do.
The riders went through some really thick bush on narrow tracks so got even wetter from the bushes.
I’m off to read some discussions now so enjoy your day or sleep well, whatever the case may be.
The photo is mine of one of my favourite horses and riders. You can see how wet they are.

Lovely horse. Reminds me of a Tennessee walker.
Visiting friends is always great

@JudyEv Crosses often are not pretty. The head set and how far the back hoof is forward makes the other one seem like it could be.

@wolfgirl569 I forgot to say the other one is purebred Arab.

You were taking pictures and not riding? Sounds like the best way to enjoy the day. Too bad about the rain.

You sure have a passion for those endurance riders and their horses. A nice hobby to enjoy.

@JudyEv I think the weekend will be better..but I think at least a little rain is in the forecast all week, and there could be some big storms.

Great photo. I would hate to be riding in the rain. Have a good week.

Yes, it's an Arab. Mostly they're the preferred breed although some are now going for standardbreds (trotters/pacers). They have a quieter temperament.
