A pigeon was sleeping near our window for two days

I am not sure if they should do this. The pigeon was sleeping all day and all night. Yesterday it was near our window. Today it moved a little further. I watched it during the day and it doesn't move. It just sleeps all day. My cats didn't notice it until now. I hope they won't notice it very soon. Maybe tomorrow I will see it again. I will add a picture here. I hope it doesn't need help. Maybe there is a nest close to us.

I am sure that the pigeon is taking a rest outside of your window.

@dya80dya I hope that the pigeon is just tired and not hurt.

Hopefully it is just hanging out there. I had a small snake curled up on my window one day. The next day it was gone..Thank God!

Having a small snake on your window is scary. I wouldn't want to see one on my window.

@dya80dya I think it was a baby. It was curled up like a bow. Gone the next day fortunately.

It might be sick and sadly, dying. Animals tend to sleep a lot when it's close to time. Being high up keeps them safe so they can cross in peace.

It sounds like you have an interesting visitor! Pigeons can sometimes act a bit sluggish if they are injured, sick, or simply very tired. It’s good that you’re keeping an eye on it. If it’s been sleeping all day and night without much movement, it might need help. You could try to gently check on it tomorrow and see if it reacts.

I was woken for 2days now by them. They land on my window from outside and I hear their tapping. When they fly away, they leave presents for me thos might be hurt or sick, not sure.
