The Barabati Fort has the High Court museum in Cuttack.

In Cuttack the Barabati Fort is a strong Fort used to protect the kingdom of kalinga from the neighbours. The High Court museum is situated within the Fort. The Orissa High Court was created during a period when India was a colony of United Kingdom. Many memorable cases were filed in the High Court. The museum contains a gallery where the history of the litigation is displaced.

@RebeccasFarm thanks Ocean many European countries like portugal england holland france denmark tried to create colony in India. The entire trade happened by water ways. So container ships transported trade goods via Bay of Bengal. The marine museum has history relating to that period

That's lovely, I have never seen the fort, though my in-laws stay there and I have visited Cuttack a number of times.

thanks Aninditaji I love the set up of city of Cuttack on the right the river Mahanadi flows and on the left are the Fort, the stadium and the Government offices

@aninditasen thanks Aninditaji yes the Bay of Bengal had created amphan yash and other storms in Andhra Pradesh Orissa and West Bengal in the past
