It's Our Community Yard Sale Day

Happy Saturday Everyone! thank goodness for the sun!! after all the rain we had this week, today is filled with blue skies and sunshine.
I totally forgot that today is our community yard sale so last night my daughter reminded me. We both got up early and so far we've had a decent amount of people and sales.
My oldest daughter stopped by and I came in to make us lunch while they are helping customers.
Fingers crossed that we can get rid of some stuff and maybe make some money too.
Whatever doesn't sell will probably go to donation.
Looks like a lot of families are participating.

@CarolDM it's in the 60s right now and will probably hit at least 70 by afternoon but we don't have any rain . The sun is going in and out

@Marilynda1225 when I did yard sales during the summer during the community wide event is when I had the most things sell.

A lot of families participated in this one so there was a lot of traffic. I was happy to get rid of stuff and make a little extra cash, Usually my community does a yard sale twice a year but I haven't participated in the last few. I know some of my neighbors had stuff for kids and they always had people there

The yard sale went well and I was able to get rid of some stuff and make a little money. I was more anxious to get rid of stuff than actually do it for profit. But it turns out I did both

I did get rid of stuff but wouldn't say I made a "bundle" of money

I did pretty well, made a little money and now have a little more room in the garage. Our garage is the catch-all for stuff that doesn't have a home.

Haven't done much on Saturday. Just had a relaxed day.
I wish we have yard/garage sale here. It's not that popular. That's a good way to get rid of old stuff and make some money;
