The sweetness of rain.

It's so good to lie in bed, window open, light off, listening to rain falling through the leaves of the trees before it collects in puddles on the ground and seeps into it. The drains gurgle and the temperature drops and cool air slips in through the window to run its fingers over me.
Hard to believe that in a few months the cool, welcome breeze will be more like an icy blast howling around the forest.

I am enjoying the very light mornings & evenings but it is slipping away to having too much darkness. I can not usually hear the rain but l used to like to hear it falling!

@Lindaohio I love all the seasons but summer is the most problematic for me. I don’t approve of people sweating!

I love both the smell and sound of rain. I have enjoyed listening to rain falling on a tin roof and that is just like a lullaby,
