And Life Goes On.

A pandemic, the Ukraine Russia war- and rumours of war, wildfires in Canada , extreme heat, deadmy fire in Hawaii, deadly earthquake in Morocco, deadly floods in Libya, landslides in Brazil. Disasters seem to be coming fast and furious. Are you worried yet? Is there cause for worry? Is there any recent disaster missing from my list? Pixabay image

Nah, I'm not worried. I don't see any reason to. While tragic in some cases, this is life. People who come after us will have their own share of problems. Nature is trying to balance itself out.

No, I’m not worried. These disasters have been having for thousands (others would say millions, I understand) of years, and humans survive. If something happens to me, I get to go to Heaven anyway, so while I hate that these things happen, I try to keep going, and not think too long on what could happen next. It just doesn’t do me any good.

You are so right. Not much can be done about natural disasters and some politicians can be very believable.

Yes, I am worried. All those natural disasters are more extreme because of global warming and it's only the beginning.

Global warming is definitely something to be worried about. The heat this summer has been the worst l have ever experienced. Will it be better or worse next year? I don't know...

@Kandae11 Same here, we had a horrible heat wave and the experts wrote "in the coming years we will remember this as a cool summer". I am scared.

@LadyDuck l remember the thought coming to me that l would probably choose extreme cold( if l didn't have to go out) over heat. However, cold could be just as miserable l suppose.

There is no point in anticipating trouble As they say cross the bridge when it comes. Also what cannot be cured has to be endured

Matthew 24:7 reads "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places." These things are tragedies, but they show us that Jesus will soon return.

It is a dreadful shame & l guess we hear almost instantly these days even during it happening whereas in the past it may have taken a day or two to filter through on the news. I remember years ago I heard something about a plane crash in England. I searched frantically buying the news papers. There were no reports on the news in France. It was in fact the Lockerbie disaster in Scotland. After two days the full horror of that event hit the news!

The news is almost instant these days. Also there are some disasters we know are coming days ahead. Unlike how it was in days gone by.

I am quite worried, as all of these disasters affect us all, and diminish the quality of our life here, on the Earth. The war in Ukraine, (as do other disasters too), affects all of the Earth, with its repercussions.

It certainly does. For example, many countries uninvolved and far away from the war could face severe shortages of necessary products.
