We get the news late...we are at the other end of the world...
Is everyone from those states safe?
I saw quite a few videos on YouTube. Scary.
What I did not understand is, when the tornado is forming, why is it that people are still driving towards it, rather than away from it. They are all not reporters or storm chasers.
They seem to go about it all as if it is business as usual. It must be pretty noisy and risky too. After all the flying debris can fall and hurt.
I would want some underground shelters every few miles on either side of road, so that people can be safe. But people didn't seem to care!
One video even showed the car sorta becoming red and back, kinda, electrical phenomenon? And it drove on...after that kinda flash was over....
Just hoping everybody is safe, and am glad people help at such time.

My favorite radio station doesn't have a newscast and I don't watch TV so I have to rely on you to tell me about this, thanks.

It is understandable to feel concerned seeing such videos. Tornadoes can be very dangerous, and it's important for people to have access to shelters and to know how to stay safe during severe weather.
Regarding people driving toward tornadoes, it's possible that some may not be aware of the danger or may not have a clear view of the tornado until it's too late.

Many are trying to get home to family. Others want to see it closer. Some wouldn't notice if it was coming down the road at them.

Tornadoes are extremely dangerous; and it always amazes me when I don't see the traffic turning around. I hope everyone is safe in those states that were affected.
