Yesterday night Calcutta got the first norwester.

The entire month of April was hot and humid in Calcutta. Yesterday night the first norwester struck Calcutta. It is called kalbaisakhi. It rained heavily. Although the temperature has remained around 36 degree celsius, there has been some respite after scorching heat for a month.

It is called kalbaishakhi in Hindi also.In our town the mercury is touching 43 C.

@sathviksouvik I'm from Sambalpur:Odhisa.We did not have any storm here;but yes;temperature has come down.
