Hubby's 3rd cousin (our housekeeper) took me to my eye doctor appointment. I had to have a Visual Field Test. That was over in about 15 minutes and then we went to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse. I had a gift card that I earned participating in a focus group; so it was all paid for. I put my Meals on Wheels lunch in the freezer for this weekend. Hope you are all safe and sound after the storms that moved through. They broke up before getting to us; and we just had a little bit of thunder and about 3 minutes of heavy rain. We could use more rain which we should get this week according to the forecast. Breakfast - None Lunch - Longhorn Steakhouse - Cheddar stuffed mushrooms, bread, strawberry salad, chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts Dessert/Snack - From Longhorn - Chocolate Stampede Cake Dinner - None What did you eat yesterday? You had good food yesterday. I made a saffron risotto for lunch and chicken fingers with potatoes for dinner.

@LindaOHio Hard to plan what to eat because the weather changes so much during the day.

There was a tornado warning a couple of counties over but it fell apart before it got to my brother’s county, thank God. Chicken taco salad for both meals. Apples and another one of those Fiber One brownies I picked up.

Oh that strawberry salad sounds delish! I'll have to put that on my list to try next time we go!! I skipped breakfast, sandwich for lunch and I threw a pork loin seasoned with Cajun seasonings in the slow cooker for dinner along with some stuffing and peas.

@LindaOHio I always ask for dressing on the side because I hate to be served a salad floating in salad dressing.

The strawberry salad is really good. Make sure they put enough dressing on it.

What’s a focus group? Cool that you didn’t have to pay for dinner. What’d you order?

I took part in an interview about a subject (I don't remember what it was) and was paid for my time. What I ordered is under "Lunch" above.

Your lunch at Longhorn sounds delicious and I'm sure it was wonderful getting out and having a nice meal. Last night we had pork chops, mashed potatoes, broccoli and ice cream cones for dessert.

I'm glad your appointment went quickly. Your lunch at Longhorn sounded good. For breakfast I had Fiber One with strawberries and a banana. For a snack I had a slice of banana bread. Dinner at the restaurant was liver, onions, and bacon with a baked potato and sour cream and broccoli. I did well with the calories. I'll step on the scale soon. It should be good.

@LindaOHio Most people feel the same way. My grandmother made the best liver and onions. My mother did too, but Grandma's were better.
