Nurses do important work. They work so hard. Some of them aren't so kind. When I was hospitalized the nurses were amazing. Even the doctors were very kind. They came every day, they asked us how our sleep was and how we felt. The nurses checked if everything was ok several times daily. It was a bit difficult to be checked so often because we didn't have much peace. Only one nurse wasn't very nice. My mom is a nurse. Are you thankful for nurses's work? What was your experience with nurses?

I am really thankful to them. They do a noble job. Whenever I have visited hospital or got hospitalized, I have come across nice, friendly, helpful and professional nurses.. What a coincidence! Today is Mother's day. So, your mom deserves two celebrations for the incredible job that she does as a nurse and as a mom.

@dya80dya I hope that she had a good day. Did you do something special to make the day special for her.?

@arunima25 No, unfortunately, I couldn't make the day special for her. Lack of money is a problem.

Today is Mother's Day, I always celebrated with my mother when she was alive. My experiences with nurses were NOT all positive, some were very good persons and some were terribly mean.

@dya80dya In most European country Mother's Day is the second Sunday of May, except the UK and France. It is in March in the UK and in France the last Sunday of May.

Some nurses are mean indeed. We celebrated Mother's Day on 8 March. I didn't say anything to my mom yesterday. I only congratulated her because it was Nurse's Day. We celebrated Mother's Day on 5 May too. And on 8 March. I didn't know that in Europe Mother's Day is celebrated on 12 May.

My two best friends are nurses, and I gave them a few small gifts to commemorate Nurse’s Day this year. For the most part, I have had wonderful nurses. But over the years, I have also had some wretched nurses. I try to remember they have difficult jobs, but that doesn’t mean they should take it out on patients.

I agree with you. People are already sick and they need kind words. They don't need wretched nurses.
