How far can we embrace discomfort

May 17, 2024 4:19am CST
Learning to embrace and live with discomfort is surely one of the recipe for success. It is one habit that helps us build mental toughness and tackle challenging situations. Unfortunately, there is a limit to which anyone can endure such discomfort but if we eventually do we will achieve a lot.

as you said, there is a limit and if we feel we crossed that limit and discomfort continues, turns into stress or burnout, is it worth putting up with discomfort?

I understand that it's important for all of us go through a rough patch in order to become better, but sometimes the rough patches are just too much. Like, right now, I'm getting desperate about getting hired for a job.

Embracing discomfort can indeed foster growth and resilience, BUT it's essential to balance it with self-care and know our limits.
