Have always loved a Grey race horse, and always in the past bet on a grey horse. Though I wanted Mystik Dan to win so we might have another Triple Crown winner, I was silently hoping for Seize The Grey to win. I had the station the race was on for a long time, but decided to watch Blue Bloods until the Preakness started. Started fixing supper and forgot about the race. LOL Found out later My Grey horse Won! LOL Now for the Belmont...I will be really cheering for Seize The Grey. LOL

I hope your horse wins for you. Will you have any money on it? I've just read a book about Lexington who was a great race-horse years back and became a great sire.

Where I live I would have to drive about 30 miles to go bet on any horse race. I don't bet on line. I used to live behind a Trotting Horse Track where they race with the driver rides in a 2 wheel buggy behind the horse. I dated a guy who worked there...the horse he took care of was Spicey Charlie. Beautiful Horse, and won quite a bit. I had friends that worked at Keeneland Race Track in Lexington, KY, and a couple who worked at Churchill Downs in Lousivlle, KY. Got to see so many beautiful horses, and watch them run. I would bet on a grey horse IF there was one in the race OR I would bet on the jockey..Pat Day was my favorite jockey. Some people want to stop horse racing like they did Dog racing, but MOST horses are treated like Royalty..live better than people! LOL

@Ghostlady When we were young the family would go to the trots and I'd always pick the one with white harness. There weren't very many grey trotters/pacers at the time. It's mostly pacing here but it's called 'the trots'. A lot of the cast-offs are making their mark as endurance horses.
