Another precious day

Today we have sun. I expected clouds. I am headed to the pool soon. I am tired from yesterday's property work. I am grateful I managed to snag a house and property six years ago. The time sure flew by!
I made a not so super tasty smoothy this morning. Not all play times with the blender are going to be fun. The smoothy is healthy so that's the way it goes.
Yesterday I mowed the front strip of grass by the street and along the faux wrought iron fence. That twenty minutes wore the mower's battery down. I really should not have mowed due to the grass being thick and wet. At least a teeny bit got mowed. I may be too achey from water exercise to do any mowing today.
I also filled our bird feeder so finches have come in this morning for breakfast. I can see the arch that we installed over the brick walk from my living room window. Yesterday a blue jay perched on the arches top. Gorgeous blue guy. Gave me a laugh. I hope everyone has some beauty land in their world today.

@wolfgirl569 Agreed and I wasn't supposed to use the mower when the grass was wet. The grass never totally dries out, though.

@sallypup Mine doesn't say anything about wet. I still use the weed whacker when its wet and thick. I can do more before the batteries run out

@wolfgirl569 I don't have a weed whacker. The ones we've had were awful to load the string on.

@celticeagle Just whoa. A stunning bird just sat on the shepherd's crook by the feeder- all I can think of is an oriole. Stunning red/orange on his chest and head, bigger than a sparrow and smaller than a robin. That stopped me!

Mowing wet grass is not recommended. Sorry you didn't like your smoothie..there are plenty of delicious low cal ones you can make though. Maybe you should look up some online. I had a recipe for one using whey powder, green grapes and spinach once that doesn't sound that good, but it really was!

I remember when you moved there. Time flies when you're not looking.
I'm glad you could get some mowing done and filled the bird feeder. I'm glad the blue jay brought joy to your life yesterday.
