I have decided to review this 3-book series as a series instead of the individual books. Each book holds something different. What they have in common: 3 university hockey player friends heading to the NHL 3 college gal friends He falls first Steamy spice Book One: Freezing The Puck. This story is about Liam, the hockey team captain shooting for the NHL. He meets Charlotte for what was supposed to be one night of fun, but it becomes so much more. Liam has to choose between Charlotte and following his NHL dreams - play with a local NHL team and begin a life with Charlotte, or move across the country to play for another NHL team. Conflict: Did he cheat on her? Book Two: Scoring Chance. Chiral meets Marina who just wants to have fun. She doesn't want commitment. Something from her past is preventing her from making a commitment. And something in her the present is a secret she cannot reveal. But Chiral stumbles upon what that is. Does he tell Marina he knows? Conflict: An ex-boyfriend with a big mouth and determination to get Marina back. And the secret she is too embarrassed to reveal. Book Three: Breakaway. At the end of book two Lilah disappears, leaving Phoenix (Nix) angry, confused and unhappy. At the beginning of this book she returns after a year but with no explanation from Li, Nix will not let her in. When she finally gets the chance to explain the reason she ran was to protect Nix and their friends, all six friends come together to protect each other, but mostly Li who is being stalked by a dangerous ex. There are two epilogues at the end of book 3, the last being 10 years later tying all three stories up into a nice big bow. Book three was my favourite of the books in the series because of the suspense and mystery. All three are very steamy. There is a heavy focus on hockey. It is a hockey romance series after all. All three are easy reads with short chapters. It is my opinion that one must read the stories in order. It's one big story with each focusing on different couples. They are all friends so they all appear in all three stories.

That sounds a good series especially if you are interesting in hockey.

Yes, I just think it's a little unrealistic when the same person is always scoring and always winning. But, when you're trying to make it to the big leagues I guess they have to show they've proven it.

Good review - crisp and clear...however, I am not into this genre. I love crime thrillers mostly or war memorials.

I have to admit, I don't mind reading a steamy novel once in a while but this was a bit much.
