This last week of school, combined with Bob's appointments, and sharing cars, etc. has gotten to me. I did not get online this morning.
It is supper time, and I have not put a meal together yet.
Just two and a half more days to make it through. One full day is a field trip and the half day is a swim party. I think I can make it okay.
So if you do not see me here for a day or two, it is okay, I am conserving my strength. I am reading here a little bit.
I brought the classroom laundry home. It needed to be done.

What I got out of this year, because of the contractors needing me here was the field day, which is not fun for me. Often activities are not planned with consideration for my kiddo's ability. The swim day was really fun, because he demonstrated a new ability in the pool, and swimming is pure joy for him.

I remember those last weeks before the summer break. We have a pool close so spent a lot of time there. And we have a park about two blocks away. A lot to do around here. Hope all goes well.

Yes, the pool we use is actually owned by the district and is across the street from our building. It is called the Sports and Aquatic center. There is also a walking track there.

It sounds like you've had a hectic week with the end of school activities and managing Bob's appointments. Taking a break to conserve your energy is completely understandable, especially with the busy schedule you're navigating.
