I have to prepare for the dentist again

I decided to go to the dentist. I lost my teeth and I didn't replace all of them. Only my upper teeth are replaced. I postponed this moment because the dentist was rude and she said that I have panic attacks there because I am allowed to have them. But she was the only dentist who received me despite having panic attacks. The other ones sent to me have general anesthesia in another town. I need to be strong and go there because I will lose the rest of my teeth. The lower teeth will be lost if I don't go as soon as possible. I had another setback recently and my anxiety is severe, but I hope that I can go to the dentist. How do you prepare for the dentist if the dentist is rude and mean? I can't change her because the others won't receive me.

I'm sure there are dentists who receive kids and I'm sure kids are very anxious as well. It sucks your dentist lacks patience that bad. I think I'd find ways to relax if the dentist doesn't come up with her own. I don't know if you can listen to music, maybe some breathing exercises. Or some benzodiazepines, maybe a few more drops than usual once you get there. But I'm no doctor, ask your doctor first.

Taking medication is a good idea. I am not allowed to listen to music because she needs to talk to me and I need to hear what she is saying. She received kids too, but she has other doctors there and she sends them to other doctors. She always regrets that she received me. But the other doctors don't talk at all and I feel even worse.

@dya80dya I thought you'd already take medication for severe anxiety, but I guess you can ask a doctor to prescribe you some benzos for this specific situation. Not sure if you need a prescription, but you want to make sure there are no side effects, especially if you're already taking other meds. Then you also need to know how much you can take.

I just don't go. If my teeth go, no love-loss. I can still eat and a lot of my favorite foods.

@dya80dya I am sorry for your situation. I hope you get to keep your teeth or to replace them with dental prothesis.

@Cristi_Ichim I will replace them with dental crowns. The dentist will save a part of them.

They can cause severe pain. But it's so expensive to replace teeth.

I am sorry to hear you have dental problems. Do you know why your teeth fell off? If I may ask.
