Why cracking your knuckles is so satisfying

and is it really bad...
If you've got this habit, you'd know its satisfying. Some says it can lead to arthritis, but there's no solid proof. I used to crack mine, but I've stopped - for no particular reason. Not because I believe it's bad, just moved on, I guess.
What about you?
Got any other habits you've ditched or still stick to?

I have that same bad habit. It doesn't cause arthritis, but it is irritating to people I think it makes you knuckles bigger too

Sorry to hear about your injury. It's good you're being more careful. Don't forget to always listen to your body and avoid any movements that may cause pain or discomfort.

It's interesting how it brings relief even if we don't fully understand why.

True! For some, it can be an annoying especially when you do it in front of people.
