Frugal Holidays: Bonus Mother's Day Goodies.

We took the kids to buy new shoes today, and then to lunch. It's rare that we have both kids together with us at the same time. So even though we didn't do anything too exciting, it was nice to have them together to spend time together on Mother's Day. Anyway, I had to take she child to get some bras. YEAH. I feel old. LOL. But anyway, while we we're doing that- the boys snuck off and went to find me some candy. I am a sucker for the orange/chocolate combo and at Christmas time he always gets me the Terry's chocolate oranges. So he said they went to see if they could find me one. But they couldn't, instead they found me a Lindt dark chocolate orange bar. I've been wanting a planner to get on top of my writing schedule, so when we went to Dollar General he bought me one, a notebook to match and some "fancy" pens. I like to color code things. Then he got me a Reese's Caramel big cup when we went to get dog food at Dollar Tree. So again not super expensive stuff, but it was from the heart. Stuff he knew I wanted.
