The lack of sun makes me sleepy.

During summer, I can stay up until midnight. I suppose I feel more alert as the air cools a bit.
But in this winter that starts during fall I just want to hide inside blankets. And then my eyes close and I fall asleep.
I think that I will stay awake for a little while more because I want to darn one of my faithful alpaca socks. And then I´ll turn off the lights. Sleep tight, friends.

It sounds like you've got the perfect cozy evening planned! It's interesting how the seasons influence our energy levels, isn't it? Enjoy the quiet time darning your alpaca socks—that sounds like such a comforting activity as the night winds down. Have a peaceful sleep once you turn off the lights. Sleep tight and sweet dreams!

It's never mattered what it looked like outside for me to be awake. But I have learned to function on very little sleep.

It's easier to fall asleep when it's dark than when it's light.
