I watched an episode of Murder by Fame last night on Philo that was so sad I have to share it. Christina Gimmie was a rising star. She was a natural talent. When she was a little girl she would always go right to the piano in any home she came into that had one. She could any song just by listening to it. Never had music lessons. She loved to sing. She was charismatic, cute, and smart. She sang with a local band for a while and then was asked to go on "The Voice", a musical show on TV. She was popular there and then started touring around the country. She was very popular on social media and had about 400,000 fans. She was finishing a show in Orlando, Florida, and doing a meet and greet afterward. There were about 15 people left in line. Her brother was standing just an arm's length away from there. Suddenly a man stepped out from the line, took aim, and fired three shots. One fatal headshot and two to the chest. It was such a shock. She was only 22 years old. Her brother took out after the shooter, tackled him, and beat him on the ground. From his pockets, he drew a second gun and shot himself in the head. The police found that this young man was 27 named Kevin James Loibl. He had been a loner and had traveled to Orlando to shoot her. His room was dark, with no posters or pictures of Christina on the walls as one might expect. Nothing but a bed and a computer. The desktop computer had been damaged, and his cell phone was encrypted. So the police couldn't learn anything about his motives or his life. But he had had it all planned out ahead of time. The police were able to track down a friend and found out that Kevin had been obsessed with Christina. He found out she had a boyfriend and decided that if he couldn't have her no one else would. I couldn't believe this story. I have heard thousand like it but she was so cute and so talented this one really struck me. She was just starting out on what was to surely be a magnificent career. She was so talented. Below is a video of one of her performances. She had such a good voice and had learned all this herself. No lessons. So often this is the case. Obsession, murder, and then suicide. These sick people commit suicide rather than see the justice that they owe society and the poor family of the person they have decided to murder rather than let them have the life they deserve and the people around them want.

What a tragic story. Selena is another person that was gunned down at the peak of her career. So sad.

In Japanese, there's a crazy fans called "Yara" who treated their idol as their unique doll, like some treasure. If they Can't get it,they'll destroy it by theirselves, even the murder.Keven.J.Loibl is a typical Yara, too sad that Christina Gimmie encountered him,May God bless her at the heaven.
