Today's baking project: homemade cinnamon rolls

I have all of the ingredients already on hand. I've made them several times before with success. Nothing about them is difficult but it just takes time. For now I am waiting on the butter to come up to room temperature so I can make the filling and dough. The composed cinnamon rolls have to rise overnight so there's no chance of having one today. That's fine. I plan on bringing them into work on Monday. The people who hang out in the teacher's room always enjoy what I leave for them.

I love cinnamon rolls.
The first time I had one it was at Miami airport. We were waiting for a friend to come and pick us up when I smelled something out of this world. I followed the aroma and there they were.

Never tried to make them myself, I do have a cinnamon swirl cake mix which I will try out tomorrow,
