Pregnant and due December 11

Baby Belly - There's again not much to describe. I'm pregnant and this is a picture of my bellow. I believe I was somewhere around 20 weeks along. It's a girl!

Hello everyone! So, let me start out by saying I'm pregnant! It's my first! And things couldn't be better. What help I need from you is what to expect with going into labor? What happened to you (or your significant other) when you were going into labor? Will I know when I'm going into labor? These are some questions I'm not too sure I know the answers too. I've been reading several blogs about it. So, maybe you can help me out!

I have had two labors and both were home births. I used a water pool for the first stage as well as had gas and air when the pain was really strong. Then I got on to my bed for the pushing stage and that lasted twenty minutes. Then my first son was born and he looked so lovely. I had a retained placenta though. I woke up with mild contractions and wasn't sure if I was in labor. I rang the midwife and two came round to my house. I wanted to lay down on my sofa because my labor was happening way too quick. I had twenty minutes of strong contractions then I sat up and my second son was born. I delivered placenta fine so that was a relief. I hadn't had any pain relief because my pool was still filling and the gas and air hadn't been set up. I think that you will know you are in labor if contractions begin or you have a show. Good luck. Things to think about: 1. Do you want an active labor? 2. Would you like a natural labor? 3. How will you relax? Breathing techniques, calm music, water etc.
