what are your opinions of the morning after pill that is available to teens over the counter at the pharmacy? do you think this is a good/bad idea? do you think a parent should be required to get this pill for their teen if they are underage? share your opinions here..

Well, I know at least in the state of Florida, you have to be 18 to get this pill, otherwise you have to have a parent with you. I personally do not believe in it. They said it is not like abortion, but I do not see how it is different. If you conceived a baby, then it is there, it is done. It should be sought through. why not take birth control and/or use contraceptives? If you were THAT worried to go to plan B, proper planning PLAN "A" would have saved you the trouble of preventing human life. I would never do it, but I would never down someone who did. Everyone in life has their own choices to make, whether good or bad. And many lessons to be learned from. I guess what I am breaking down to is, if you do it once, ok, lifes lesson learned, check. But, if you do it more than once, take a step back and look at what is going on, maybe that person would want to re-evaluate decision-making skills and set themselves on a new path in life. Great discussion.
