Bobi passed away

Bobi, officially recognized as the oldest dog in the world, passed away today at the age of 31. He was Portuguese, from a breed of dog that exists in the Alentejo, he was an Alentejo mutt.
It's always difficult to see our animals pass, especially after more than 30 years together.
It's fantastic to see that there are people who take such good care of their animals, and thus allow them to reach this age.
Vitor Hugo said that "The dog is the virtue that, not being able to become a man, became a dog." And those who have the privilege of having them in their lives know this is true.
I have a 4 year old dog and a 3 year old cat, I would love to have them in our family for so many years.
Bobi's family certainly has good memories of him.

Wow! That's a lot of "dog years." Wonder what dog food brand Bobi ate? I just looked it up. Bobi ate human food soaked in water to wash away the seasoning.
RIP Bobi... Your record will be very hard to break!

@nela13 I did read about a dog in Ohio who I believe is 23. That pooch has a long way to go.

He must have had health issues as at that age they are bound to be there and great that he was taken care of.

Wow that is an old dog for sure. We have 4 cats all fixed and they all are different ages they all are outside cats.

I read about Bobi , I can’t believe he lived so long. What a blessing to his family to have him part of their lives for over three decades!

He had the Guinness world Record for the oldest dog. They took good care of him, I believe he was happy.
