Sitting Still in Washington

The photo is a collage of photos I've taken. It's a combo of Oregon and Washington. The top left is the bridge in Prosser, WA, second is the River Gorge in The Dalles, OR, third the Hannah Bridge in Scio, OR, fourth and fifth bottom left is Silver Falls, OR, and last bridge on the 138 in Oregon.
I've been traveling back and forth from Oregon and Washington and I'm tired. I'm ready to sit for awhile.
I was going to camp host December and January in Oregon but decided to sit in Washington and breathe. Save money from pulling a travel trailer all around and do something with my health. It's hard to keep up when I'm always on the move.
Today, I topped off both propane tanks and good thing as I would have ran out by tomorrow. I confirmed for the propane company to come out this coming week and hook up a 120 gallon tank the park is pushing for residents to utilize.
I have an electric heater too but if power goes out, I need my propane heater plus it's cheaper to run.
Got my tire covers on all four trailer tires (my trailer is a double axel), heated hose hooked up, furnace set to keep underbelly defrosted and ready for winter.
It's actually both raining and snowing at the same time. I see light rain mixed but going to stop soon, or so it says.
I hope everyone is keeping warm, having a happy weekend and doing well. Anything fun going on this weekend?

Oh, I'd love to see those places! When Pretty and I were traveling when she was little up to a teenager, we never made it to Oregon or Washington state. I had no idea it was so beautiful up there! Thank you for sharing the photos with us.
We had a rain/snow mix falling last week but it didn't amount to anything and soon stopped. The ground temp here is still too warm for snow and ice to stick. Thank goodness. It's really too early in the Winter for us to see snow. We might get small amounts of snow in November or December but we usually see snow here in January through March...
I hope you're doing okay and glad you're ready for cold weather. Please take care and keep us informed about how you're doing.

@noni1959 I've explored Yellowstone and have been up into Pennsylvania a couple of times. There is natural beauty in every corner of the US, in my opinion...
I hope your furnace is an easy fix. Good luck with it and you're staying warm and safe tonight.

I'm a bit frustrated tonight. My furnace isn't kicking in. I'm hoping its a simple fix like the sail switch. Thankfully, I have an electric heater. I'm OK. Been battling some ups and downs with all the changes but trying to keep busy and find positives. Oregon and Washington has some beautiful areas. Even the areas that are desert, have beauty. I hope you can come explore some day.
Some day I want to see Vermont, Rhode Island, Main, and go back to Idaho, Yellowstone and South Dakota. There are so many beautiful places to see.
Keep safe and warm.

@DaddyEvil I've been to Yellowstone twice. South Dakota twice. There is a lot to see and do in the US. I like looking for out-of-the-way places to visit.

Such beautiful photos . . . you've been to so many gorgeous places! Taking a breather is good. Sounds like you're all ready for winter - stay safe and warm out there! We were able to get walks in under the sun at the right times . . . otherwise we had some rain - and now super wind this weekend. Sigh - Monday comes too soon.

@noni1959 Winds - bleh. After the bit of rain, we got those high winds - got too warm and dry - my sinuses were not happy. Today was a nice day but supposedly we get the winds back next week. It is cool you can go to and fro - OR and WA - bit of a drive but so worth it to get the best of both worlds!

Your pictures are just incredible!
I've been to some of those places...Silver Falls is so special. I recall the Dalles as well. But oh, your pictures! Very, very professional, Loretta!
I am sorry you are tired, but at least you are stopping for a time to rest and regroup. I hope you start feeling better very soon, and I hope you have a good Thanksgiving!
