How MyLot helped me make more than $5 yesterday alone!

On my way home from playing music with a friend, I stopped to get gas. Because the price per gallon was literally 50 cents per gallon less than at my local discount station, I decided to put in ten gallons, saving a total of $5. Add that to my MyLot earnings of 0000.XYZA yesterday, and I made over $5.00 in total. Do you take advantage of bargains? But do you avoid buying things you weren't going to buy anyway?

I have never been a fan of buying something just to buy it. I feel that's putting your money down the drain. I never was a fan of being wasteful. However, I do like a good sale. I will get something in bulk, if I think I can save a little on it.

@TheHorse George and I have been experts at making use of what space we have. I have over a month's supply of peg tube food, since they send us a 30-day shipment every month. So not only have I had to make space for it, but make space to where I can reach it for his feeds.

I generally don't buy stuff in bulk, as my space is limited.

I bought 2 liters of ice cream yesterday instead of one. I suppose there was this offer because days are getting chilly here. There were other offers and I "took advantage" of many of them. I´m a food hoarder as I just wrote in my last post here.

I am kind of the opposite. I buy enough food for a couple of days.

@TheHorse I remember when I bought the freezer against Leticia´s will. She told me I´d never fill it. Now she had a freezer too. And I bet that it is full

Yes, I take advantage of bargains but I only buy things that were in my list of things to buy.

@TheHorse In the past I bought too many things we did not really need.

@LadyDuck I don't know that I ever did. Of course I do have five guitars right now. But I'm trying to sell one.

@wolfgirl569 California is way high. I assume New York is too. But I don't know why.

Gas prices ARE up here in California relative to the rest of the nation. I heard yesterday that the national average is about $3.40 for a gallon of regular. I see price above $5 here in Coastal California. Something about refineries undergoing maintenance and other factors.

I take advantage of bargains. If it's basic food supplies and will keep, then I'll buy extra.

I don't have a "big" freezer, so I just buy what I need for the next few days.

@TheHorse The bottom half of our fridge is a freezer and that's all the space we have but it's enough.

Congrats on scoring a bargain on gas. My MIL used to buy things just because they were on sale. Such a waste. Have a good day.

Something may be on sale but if it isn't anything I want/need, I won't buy it.

I only buy when I know I can afford something, I always put in an order on Amazon where I get my cats' dry food when I have a gift card and with the last one I was able to get 22 lbs of Friskies dry food and some snacks for myself,

Sometimes I do. Some things have a good price, but this doesn't last very long. After a short time, they become expensive again.

I still only buy what I need. A "sale" does not make me buy something that was not "on my list."
