Catching Some Extra Zzzzz's

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a sunny day here today with warmer temperatures. Looks like spring is fighting hard to stay. I'm very late getting here today. I didn't sleep very well and didn't feel the greatest when i got up so I went back to bed. That's not something I do very often but I knew it was what I needed. I'm glad I did because I feel so much better now and have to get my day started. Here I am just having my first cup of coffee and my daughter will be taking her lunch break soon. We usually have lunch together but I'll be having breakfast while she has her lunch. I don't think I could jump right into lunch so a small breakfast will be sufficient. Now I have to rearrange my day and push off some of the things I had planned to do. At least I have the luxury of just letting the day unfold and there's nothing pressing that needs my attention. Hope everyone is having a good day

I'm having my second cup of coffee. I expect to have a productive day today. Yesterday was a drag due to the heat.

That's when I get all the work I can done so when I don't have the urge to do anything I can just don't worry about it for a few days. Knowing I worked my tail off & have a lot more to get done but just don't have it in me to do I do pay for it later as well too with my back.

If you really need to sleep and can afford to do so, why not? Glad you could rest some more, hopefully you slept better last night. I usually have a hard time readjusting my internal clock and melatonin barely helps.

Good Afternoon...I stayed in bed a little longer than usual. I got woken up by some noises again..was a bit difficult to get back to sleep.

I hope that you get a restful night's sleep and feel more like yourself in the morning. I bumped my head yesterday and my shoulder is throbbing as a result. I don't know if I moved funny when I bumped my head and that cause a pinched nerve, but I am sitting with the heating pad on it now. Tomorrow it should be better, I don't like this.

I didn't sleep good last night either. And when I got up, I was in a fog. I had something I needed to take care of, or I would have gone back to sleep too. I did get a nap for about 45 minutes or so and that helped. Hoping we rest better tonight.

I have them days myself every now & then that I just don't have the get up & go like I use to have but I have to muster though it to get things done.

If I'm awake around 6 and don't get up, I sometimes fall back asleep and next time I look at the clock it's jumped to 9!
