Are you kidding me?

I had a productive day yesterday and was feeling all "in control" of my life. And then these things happened:
The weather totally flipped. Yesterday was sunny and in the 80s F. I think I even spied a bit of color in my pale and wan white boy cheeks. Today it is really chilly out and I see threatening clouds overhead. Perhaps I will take a short cycle, just so I can say I did.
Yesterday or the day before I posted about how gas prices here had been really volatile recently. They were up from $4.19 to something absurd, like $5.69, and then they had dropped to $5.45.
But when I went to get my smokes this morning, they had dropped again....to $5.38...that is not a typo. $5.38 (actually $5.38.99, of course). I don't know that I have ever seen gas prices ending in eight. I put a few gallons in.
Is the Earth going to fall into the sun? Is Donald Trump going to accept Jesus (or Moses, or someone) as his savior, plead guilty to all of his crimes, and donate his remaining money to charities for abused women as well as black and Latino people? Is a French girl who loves music going to show up to my door with soft eyes and a bottle of wine?
I feel so out of control! OK. My tooth is fine. Never mind. I will start to psych up for my music lessons this afternoon.
How is your Tuesday shaping up?

Humidity is such an interesting thing. We can tolerate "hotter heat" here in California because it's not that humid. But I LIKED the humidity when I was growing up in Chicago. And in college in Iowa. I also like it on the East Coast (New York) when I visit relatives. It makes everything feel "lush: and alive to me. But Florida was a bit much for me. I don't think I have been to El Paso. I wonder how I would find it. I HAVE spent some time in Phoenix. It's seemed hot and...kind of non-descript to me.

Nothing too dramatic, about as expected I guess.

@xander6464 I assume all of the people who gave me "shirts off of their back" are going to heaven. I see my actions as a "public service."

I hope you have a good day today. Nothing going on here. It's supposed to be in the 80s this weekend. Much too warm for me.

@LindaOHio Yep. I will put on my shorts after Guitar Center (no shorts allowed there). It feels like it will hit the upper 60s today.

I already wrote about my messed up morning. George is enjoying himself out back after spending time out front. When he comes in, I'll pounce for tube feed two of four. I want to get things on track if I can.
