Trump is in trouble in Pennsylvania

Yesterday was the PA primary vote. Trump won the GOP vote which was always going to be the case. . . but the results should concern him. He received 83.5% of the vote. Fine. But Nikki Haley received over 155,000 votes or 16.5%. She dropped out of the presidential race over a month ago. 155,000 people chose to vote for Haley instead of Trump. Okay that doesn't sound like a big deal but Joe Biden won the state of Pennsylvania by just 80,000 votes in 2020. That means that there are more than enough Republican voters in the state who don't want Trump as president. Even if they hate Biden and will never vote for him they could very well decide to vote for someone like RFK Jr. or Cornell West. That obviously would help Biden. I've seen many GOP and Democrat advisors and commentators on Twitter posting that yesterday's results do not bode well for Trump. He needs to win PA in order to get re-elected. The volume of Haley votes already indicate that he is in trouble and one can only imagine that the ongoing hush money criminal trial will further alienate moderate Republicans and independent voters.

I keep telling myself there can’t be enough of “them” out there to put that guy back in office, especially given everything that happened. But then again, we have people who worship murderers (I remember seeing a Charles Manson t-shirt in a store back in the 80s), so one can only hope. The comforting thing is he lost the popular vote both times, so maybe….

I am sorry to say that the popular vote does count a bit, but the Electorial College is where all the action is. We the people have to make sure that the Electorial College follows exactly the popular vote. If enough people don't for tor Mr. Trump, then maybe he will get the hint and drop out of the race.

@lifecoachjerusalem He would NEVER drop out. @FourWalls is right. His ego wouldn't allow it. Hell he still won't admit that he lost in 2020.

Yeah, it's cool 155k people went to the primaries to vote for someone who dropped out of the race, good use of democracy by voting "outside the box". It won't make any difference but voting isn't a bet where you either win or lose, but a chance for your voice to be heard. Hopefully more people will realize this and will use their right to vote properly.
