I bought a pair of barefoot shoes

I have a pair of barefoot shoes, and it is like walking outside with bedroom slippers on. I am not brave enough to wear them when I am teaching school, as I am on my feet all the time, but at home there are fine, and if I have to go out for a few minutes, also ok.
Walking the dog is another story. I like to have real shoes on because if he sees a cat or another dog I have to hold him very tight or I will get dragged along. . . .
Have you tried Barefoot Shoes?
I just put the shoes on because my feet are hurting from every other pair of shoes, so I took a picture. The toe box is bigger and I am also wearing socks that are wide in the toe area.
They look ok.

I only recently heard of these shoes. I prefer going barefoot all the time, however, where I live now does not allow being barefooted outside of our apartments. The problem with that is that I walk much better and have better balance when I am barefooted than when wearing any kind of shoes. So I thought maybe these barefoot shoes might do the trick. I have to order online, though, and I don't know if I would get the right size. In the actual shoe stores, shoes fit differently so trying them on is imperative. You just cannot do that when buying online. I also saw many, many different styles of barefoot shoes. How to decide?

@capirani I am wearing the shoes today, and the only drawback so far, is when someone's baby stroller runs over my foot I really feel it.

I ordered from a site that I printed out a size of my foot and marked it on the paper. That way I was sure to get the right size.

The soles are very thin, but there is a lot of room for the toes, that part is good.

I just put up a picture of me wearing the shoes. I got these from an Israeli website so they were on the pricey side, from Ali Express they might be cheaper but I don't know about the sizes.

I wear flip-flops or sandles mostly year-round. I get ones with good traction if I ever have to put my feet on the ground. Inside my home, I don't wear shoes.
