Deysi Maldonado was visiting Galveston Island with her relatives nine days ago when she lost her wedding ring in the sand the same day. Deysi used the power of Facebook to ask help from the Galveston Island Treasure Hunter's Club to help her find her missing wedding ring. Scott Pearse and Clyde Longworth went to locate the missing wedding ring that belongs to Deysi with their metal detectors when Caleb Brignac and his girlfriend saw a fishing net partially buried in shallow water when Caleb started to dig the net out of the sand when Caleb saw a wedding ring fly in the air. Caleb did the right thing by telling Scott and Clyde who were using their metal detectors that they found a wedding ring in the sand. Scott and Clyde did contact Deysi to inform her the good news about her missing wedding ring being found. Scott said it was a good thing that the missing wedding ring was found by Caleb when it was found since the wedding ring was in such deep sand that the metal detector would not have found the ring. Deysi got her wedding ring back the same day. Not to second guess Deysi but why would anyone want to go to a beach with a wedding ring on their finger in the first place? That's so good that the ring was found. I never take my wedding off but it's hard to get off anyway. Hopefully I'll never lose it.

You are right about people keeping their wedding rings on them even though the ring can get lost in a beach.

This was great news and I am happy that complete strangers will work hard to return a valuable lost object.

@Deepizzaguy Has this ever happened to you? In Israel we have a tradition to put up a sign if you find something that is valuable. So many times you get the object back.

It seems that she was very fortunate to get that ring back again, as if Caleb was an opportunist, he might have taken that ring home for himself.
