5/1/24 - Update on My Husband

No call from him yesterday; so I will have to wait until I see him today to get his physical therapy update.
Today marks 3 months since my husband has been away from home. :-(
In that meeting today I'm hoping that someone from the Business Office will be present because we were supposed to be charged a $20 copay for Days 1-20; and we were charged $1,218.00. It's always something.

@LindaOHio I’m sure that everything he’s gone through has taken a toll on his body. But I know that no matter what you still love him for who he is.

It was great to see him again but he looked so gaunt. He looks 10 years older. He's lost over 50 pounds. Haven't gotten the business end sorted out yet.

@LindaOHio Just checking. I get a lot of "bills" but they aren't actual bills, just what the charges would be if you didn't have insurance.

It came from the rehab facility. I need to get that sorted out.

@kaylachan Yeah. We got a bill from Cleveland Clinic. It was for $290,000; but our portion was only $2,530. We still may get billed more.

You must be looking forward to this meeting and so would be he. Three months.. that must have been long for both of you to be away from each other. I hope that he is back home soon.
That's a pretty high copay amount. I hope that this is sorted out

@LindaOHio It is a shame. But I had such a problem when I was a the hospital a couple of years ago. I had to explain to several doctors that I lived alone. If I had lived with someone who could take care of me, I could have left the hospital before.

Insurance keeps wanting to kick him out of the facility. Now they say his last day is tomorrow. I had to file another appeal.
