Happy Monday Everyone! it's a rainy day here with thunderstorms predicted.
Another weekend came and went. I'm sure that those of you who work, your weekends fly by even faster than mine do.
Mother's Day is on Sunday so we'll have our big family gathering. Decided on a simple menu after much hemming and hawing. While shopping over the weekend we got the drinks, ice cream cake and chips and dip. Sometime this week we'll work on the actual food. This way we can check off stuff as we go through the list.
I love when the whole family is together but it takes planning since there's so many of us.
I know this week is going to fly by. My son is supposed to come on Wednesday to put up another ceiling fan and possibly replace the kitchen sink faucet which has decided to drip. Thursday the dog groomer is scheduled. That always takes up a good portion of the morning.
At least today looks quiet and I can relax.

The weekend just flew by. It goes by very quickly. A little too quickly for my liking. But it is the way it is.
For the moment, I'm at work and it's not as busy as last Monday. But I still have things to do and catch up on. So I have things to keep me busy until 3.

It's funny when people retire & think it's going to be all fun
but it turns out you work harder when your retired than
when you had a job, but as long as it's keeping you busy
& lots of family time it's better than working all week.

My days are all the same. The weather only affects my drive.
Up at 5:30 AM, out of the door at 7, arrive at the hospital at 8, leave the hospital at 6PM, arrive home at 7, have supper, go to bed by 10.

Sounds like a pretty busy week for you. Our housekeeper is taking me to my eye doctor appointment today and then we will be going out to eat. Have a good day.
