Is that a giant dust bunny next to my bedroom radio?

I have a blob next to my bedroom radio. It may be a giant dust bunny. I am not sure. It hasn't moved in a long time. There is no wind here. The radio is a KLH Model 21, from the mid to late 1960s, I think. I buy these things for about $60, restore them, and sell them for about $140. It keeps me busy when I don't have speakers to work on. Right now I have two of these radios here, and they're both in use. How has your Wednesday been so far? I am off to Guitar Center soon. Today is my "kid day." We'll see how many students wind up under the piano. I will try to get some teaching done without being a hard-ass. If you can identify that fur ball thing, let me know.

It was a good time. It's Thursday now, and I am brewing up my fist cup of coffee.

She can sleep in any position. Including when the raccoons are eating her food. She provides me with the occasional fence lizard or half-a-mouse, but she is useless as a watch cat.

I would poke it (gently) with a stick. I wouldn't try to vacuum it up before you ascertain what it is.

@JudyEv And step on Kitty, who is always walking and slowing down directly in front of me? I think I am being herded.

Kitty probably told her friends, ''you wouldn't believe the crazy things I have to do to get Dad's attention!'' Maybe it's time for catnip, treats, a petting session, and a visit from the admirer that croons the love songs.

If it's from the 60s, it probably doesn't have fm but it might have shortwave...

The fur ball? It definitely has interesting waves, and interesting ways of communicating.

We had storms during the night. We are lucky we didn't lose power. The whole thing could have been worse.

It kinda looks like Kitty. lol Hope you had a good teaching day. My Wednesday wasn't too good. Had to file another appeal and my husband went to the ER with low blood pressure and AFIB. He's back at rehab now. Have a good day.
