Volunteer firefighters rescue two horses who were stuck in mud

Thanks to the efforts of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department (LFVD) who answered an emergency call from the owner of two horses that traveled into a swampy area near the farm where their owner lives who happened to get stuck in mud on Saturday afternoon. I really feel bad from one of the horses who was stuck in the mud for a period of over seven hours with mud up to their undersides. Forty members of the LVFD worked together for a period of five hours to get the two horses out of the mud and reunite them with their owner who appreciated the efforts of the volunteer firefighters who rescued his pets who were examined by a veterinarian who found out that the horses were in mild distress before they were able to fully recover and eat hay once again.
