Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 59 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. It was raining earlier but that has stopped for now.
I’m at work as usual. I’m about half way through the work day. We had a lockdown drill first thing. The students take the whole thing as a joke. We will be screwed if we ever have a real active shooter situation.
I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. That’s the big excitement for the afternoon. What’s everyone else up to today?

It’s raining, so more laundry, tea, and housework.

A friend is going to hang out with my son today and that will be nice for both of us. I am going to meet my daughter, we will browse Barnes even though we rarely buy a book, she buys us both a coffee and we sit for a bit and talk and check out all the books. Then I will go with her to their house and eat and visit a bit.
I am sorry to hear that the students do not take the drills seriously. That’s really a concern. I hope that the rest of your day goes smoothly.
