Firefighters in Bayonne New Jersey answered an emergency call from a concerned person who was inside of the third floor of a burning building when Bayonne firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire and the firefighters used a ladder to assist the male fire victim out of the house safely. The male fire victim was taken by an ambulance to be treated for minor smoke inhalation. I am sure that the fire victim was released from the hospital later on in the day. Thanks to the teamwork between the Jersey City and the Bayonne Fire Department, the fire was put out in less than an hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the authorities. I am in agreement with you since the worst way for anyone to die is by fire.

That is one thing that I do not like about a house having more than one floor to it. It is more dangerous, if a fire breaks out. It was good that this man was rescued, as he might have stayed trapped, and perished in the fire, otherwise.

@Deepizzaguy I have never lived in multi-storey houses, and as I am getting more feeble these days and older in the tooth, I do not see me moving to one ever in my future either.

@innertalks Neither do I see myself living in a multi story home either due to my age.

You are right since my former home in the former Canal Zone in Panama was two floors. Since then all of my former and current residences are one floor only.
