I just posted about switching to Roku, and I thought I would finish about what my day might be.

I probably grossed some people out with the condition of the cable box...oh well, they should be used to it. I am thinking about returning it along with the rest of the rich people equipment that they supplied. I just can't afford the amount they charge. I decided to try AT&t for my internet, and they too are getting their equipment back. They didn't bother to listen to me when I told them I DIDN'T want phone service with it, that I already had phone service. Their customer service office is about as good as walking into an empty store. So, they are getting their stuff back too!!! If they don't like it they can speak to my attorney!!! Anyhow, I have to take the bus up to where I return the equipment and catch it back. I'm not really looking forward to it, but it's a necessary evil. I can always soothe myself with a Starbucks coffee-I think. I'm also hoping my prescription for my pain medication will have been sent to the pharmacy. I may wait until tomorrow though, it's just one of those "It depends" things. Oh, and my neighbor who failed the apartment inspection has someone from Housing Authority coming to help her 'CLEAN' her apartment. She has been kind of working on it on her own. That amounts to her disappearing for several hours at a time and working on it at night. I find the results in my storage cupboard. Woe be it if I want to store anything in there. It's almost (as far as I know) totally full. I might brave going down and checking to see how much has been added.

If it's easier for you, you can either arrange for UPS to pick up the packages or go to the UPS store to return the equitment. I know from personal experience, that Spectrum will take the equitment if you walk into a store, but At&T usually wants you to mail it in.

It's annoying when walking into customer service is like walking into empty stores.
