How Often do You Eat at Restaurants

When I was in my twenties I ate out 2 or 3 times a week. Now that I am older I generally go out once a month...or less...for dinner. I am not sure why. Perhaps it is just a trend. Perhaps it has something to do with our economy. Perhaps my friends are settled down into a routine and it is hard to get them to go. Maybe I just don't like eating at restaurants as much anymore. Has anybody else noticed as they get older the appeal of dining out is not as strong?

In my younger days , I would go to food places almost every day. It was just easier than cooking. Now though with the prices the way they are, I eat at home. I take the time too actually cook a meal and sit down and enjoy it at my home.

I dont know about you, but anytime I dont have to cook, is fine with me. We are on a budget, but my husband and I make it a point that on Payday twice a month we find a new restaurant or a golden oldie and go there. Its nice to get away from the kitchen every once in awhile and have someone else cook. Better to try a new recipe somewhere else than waste the food at home or ruin it, too.

i used to eat out at restaurants 4-5 times a week, but now I only eat at them about once a month. I would like to still eat at restaurants all the time, but can't afford to now.
