 Firslty, I would like to say that this is not a discussion on whether spells work, etc. but let's say, for the sake of this discussion, that they do.

 I have never heard of Herbal Inns. But anyway, "not fit for purpose" is perfectly reasonable grounds for a refund IF you have a receipt. Without a receipt, the store are obliged to offer a replacement either of the same product or one of the same or higher value (I think).
Don't send the item or the receipt to head office. Just send a letter explaining the situation including the statutory rig... |

I'm not sure you have understood. They aren't doing this because I am overdue with any bills. They are doing it because they have billed me incorrectly. The problem is that I don't owe the amount they are saying. I have no debt to clear, no payments have been missed or overdue. I've done all that before and got nowhere. Ofgen (and all the other "Of" companies aren't really interested. They are often as bad as the companies causing the problems and assume that the customer is wrong. I might try Watchdog again though. |

It takes as long as they feel like taking. Can be up to 3 months before they contact you. They should get in touch with you but if you're worried about it, contact them and check on where your application is. If you nag them enough, they usually get things done a bit quicker.
