It just ticks me off that there is not a "purple" state. Most of us ride the fence between parties but collectively we add up to either red or blue, giving politicians an unrealistic view of their "mandated cry from the people". I remember this argument, only John Adams was President and Thomas Jefferson was looking for votes. It is always easier to believe what you want to hear so if someone is seeking to give you what you want, it's not going to matter if it is truth or fiction. The fact that we often find lies to be the easier to tell may reflect on how many people are in denial about so many things. Sadly, though the truth shows up, it is often still ignored in favor of a popular lie.
