Today the future can seem bleak. We have a rough looking recession bordering on depression in the USA. We've two wars that appear to be going only into bloody quagmire rather than to victory of any sort. I have written several posts on subjects of this nature, and here is another.

When the news of the world gets me down, I go to some funny blog sites to get my sense of humor tickled. And face it, for whatever faults they have, Americans do have one heck of a sense of humor. They can laugh at their misfortunes, and their extra inches, or even their bumbles in the graces of life.

I don't think your squirt quite gets the concept of money and paying at the counter for what he wants or needs. A two year old is still a baby, just a baby with two feet under him and two hands to get into things. "Shoplifting" is a fairly complicated concept. You toss in trick or treating right on top of this bit, you have a right mess of confusion in a very tiny mind.

On occasion I've done the 'be polite even if it hurts' bit. It is easier to do online as typing keeps me more at an emotional distance from whoever I am miffed at. Face to face? My Irish temper has gotten me into plenty of...trouble!

"Landslips" are not to be taken lightly, especially when feet part with oh so slipperywhat ever that stuff is they make those shower-tubs with nowadays. My mother has had close slips as had I. I am only 41 so that isn't an age issue.

It isn't just my weight that makes me give Taco Bell a pass more often than not. Flour gives me headaches like you will not believe more often than not.

It is also cheaper to toss that turkey burger in the crock pot, toss Taco seasoning, veggies, beans, and some rice (for some reason rice gets a headache pass) and you get a pain free cheap feast. If you use bag beans that you pre-soak or c... |

If they have no predictors naturally, animals can become extremely tame like these guys. They've predictors under water, but not on land. |

Yes, people say the 'Mom & Pop' businesses that start up in garages no longer exist in America. That's Bull Droppings. They've moved from the store front to the Internet. Internet storefronts are cheap to start up, and cheap to dump if things go south in a hurry. Toys are huge. People are shivering in their britches over crappy Chinese poison toys.
