This question just came to me today when I was driving to my Grandma's house. I figure they would probably be alright on the roads, except for 2 things .. 1: They couldn't hear if somebody was honking their horn at them, and 2: If an ambulance was cutting through an intersection with their loud sirens going, they'd have no way of hearing it.
