I used to get sad when the music at the end of the show would begin marking the end. I liked Bert and Ernie as well. THey have new segments now and they don't feel the same as they did back then, but they'll sure be memories for my son when he grows up.

I really can't explain why I fear them. I know that they are harmless and probably more loving than anything. But man when I see them even if they are cages, I shiver with fear. I went to Mexico one time and it was just a terrible experience. There are stray cats everywhere and I just couldn't walk down the streets in fear of spotting one walking between my legs. Yikes..Eeek

Do you miss those days when you hung out with cousins. I do. I used to feel so close and bonded and thought I'd never need friends with them around. But times changed and relationships changed. I kind of feel sad thinking that family is less important now and friends are cherished more. But its the same case with me. Family is scattered and some family members are best to stay away from anyway.

I find it interesting that many of us prefer one side of the family more than others. I prefer my mom's side. Dad's side was never around so really no close bonds there. But my dad wishes that we had close bonds with his family and often lectures us for not giving them importance. Do you have any ambitions to reconnecting and bringing back the old times?

That's right it doesn't matter if the relationship is with friends or family. Communication is what brings the bonds and ties.

I sometimes wonder why they have biggest shopping day of the year right after one of the most stressful holidays of the year. Maybe shopping is stress reliever of some sort.

I never knew that there are sales online as well on Black Friday. I might just check them out this year. Although, there isn't anything pressing that I need or want at the moment. Been trying to really save this year since times are getting tough.

I've normally heard of friends complain that they didn't see any huge sales either on Black Friday. Maybe its just the hype that gets people to go shopping and the sales are just mimimal. I did not know about the gym memberships though, I was thinking about signing up at one, I might just do that on Black Friday I'll see.

It's interesting to know that Canada does not have Black Friday. I never heard of boxing day either. Do you get good bargains going shopping on boxing day? Is it around the same time we have Black Friday?
