EnglishTeaDuck responded to a discussion called do you think that girls with brown or blue eyes can be trusted???? in questions & answers.
Ok, I assume you are joking here, as that is completely ridiculous! How does trusting anyone have ANYTHING to do with their eye color? Are you a bit nervous of redheads? Does it extend to hair color too? And heres a thought - if people use colored contact lenses to change their eye color, do they retain their dubious character or does it change?I mean, really.....!lol

EnglishTeaDuck responded to a discussion called i'm off on my travels today in enjoy life.
We have big storms and gales and things forecast here, so we WERE going to Boston tomorrow but now I'm thinking the recliner, a dvd and a cup of hot chocolate... Honestly, I sound like someones grandmother....poor old dear... I'd completely forgotten about it being Friday 13th!

EnglishTeaDuck responded to a discussion called Mylot is not the best earning site,do you think it? in mylot.com.
I have looked around for a while for reliable sites which pay. I have tried survey and all of those things, but I have basically decided to put my time and effort into Mylot entirely now. It is not a job, it doesn't pay a huge amount, but it seems to be the most genuine site - no confusing advertising and offers, no getting weird phone calls for something you ended up signing up for while wadin...

EnglishTeaDuck responded to a discussion called Entree Level Writing Job(s)? in make extra money.
I have looked around for other things, and I wouldn't mind writing articles online for a good site, so that is an option for me. But for now, I decided to focus on Mylot, because I have seen that when I really focus on doing a certain amount of posts a day I can see my earnings go up quite quickly. Today I got my first payout and I am encouraged because I know I didn't put as much time into ...

EnglishTeaDuck commented in a discussion called Mylot is not the best earning site,do you think it? in mylot.com.
Er, thank you so much for your opinion - of course I am looking for a steady job! When I said I am putting my effort into Mylot entirely I mean out of online sites, I am doing mylot rather than other sites. Not that I am spending my whole life on here instead of getting a job. Did I really sound THAT stupid??

EnglishTeaDuck commented in a discussion called A different view on government run health care in politics.
Matters of life or death shouldn't be decided based on "business decisions"! A politician, a wealthy CEO and a laid-off factory worker should all get EQUAL treatment for equal diseases PERIOD!!Well said, Annie. It amazes me that this point is even debatable. And to set your mind at rest about the idea of the 'government coming between you and your doctor' - something I hear all the time...

EnglishTeaDuck received a best response in the discussion Have you ever been homesick? by theweerouss.
Yes, I have suffered pretty badly from homesickness, but then I made a pretty extreme move!I am originally from England, but my husband is American, so I moved from England to America to be with him. I am happy with my husband but at the same time would give anything to move back home (I have been here 5 years) and so sometimes living with those two things can become overwhelming. What I...

EnglishTeaDuck received a best response in the discussion Do you ever feel like you don't want to go to bed? by froggieslover.
As it is 1.17am as I type, I guess you could say I stay up! I am pretty nocturnal and my husband is used to it by now. Before I was married I was doing drama training where I was often in rehearsals till all hours, I also worked as a dresser in a theatre doing shows in the evenings, and then later I was performing evenings. I am not working now but I guess I still keep the hours!I also ...

EnglishTeaDuck received a best response in the discussion Is Swimming an exercise hobby or fashion? by reeyan.
This is kind of an odd discussion to post under 'swimming' as it is really about using fashion to sell a product and nothing to do with swimming at all. So, swimming itself - good sport, very healthy, I actually swim every week day. Bikinis? I wouldn't wear one at my current weight, but if I was happy with my body in one I would, usually at the beach. Bikinis as fashion, and attractive...

What are Your Beliefs about Yourself?

I have been thinking recently, I run a fanpage on Facebook for a particular actor, and we have 4660 plus members. Some of us have got to know each other quite well, in fact one member went abroad to...
