Essie119 responded to a discussion called Which taste better coke or pepsi? in life.
I just found this discussion. I used to not care what I was drinking and then I married a coke fanatic. Since that is what has been in our home for the last six years, it is what I now prefer. I drink coke zero because I certainly don't need the calories.

Essie119 responded to a discussion called What kind of scrapbooks have you made? in scrapbooking.

My children are three years, almost two years and 3 months old and I have scrapbooks started for each of them. Although I don't get a lot of time to work in them these days, things will get less hectic as they get older and I'll have more time to scrap. I did a book of my wedding for me, one for my mother, I did one for my sister of her wedding. We have one that I finished of our trip to the Ne...

Essie119 responded to a discussion called Hi My Dear Friends, Nadal Won the Wimbledon...... Now Is Federer going down..... in tennis.
No one stays the best at anything forever. I really like both players. Federer has a lot of class and it is a joy to watch him play with his fluid motions and the grace of his footwork. Nadal has an energy that makes him an exciting player to watch. He is charming and has a grin that makes a person want to smile back at him. Now that he has beaten Federer on grass I think that they are both goi...

I don't mind either. I guess it's all in what you are used to, but I've been wearing this type of panties since I was in my teens. The only time that I wear the old-fashioned kind is when I am pregnant as g-strings then become rather uncomfortable.

Essie119 responded to a discussion called Do you follow a motif in making a scrap book? in scrapbooking.

I have quite a few scrapbooks on the go at once. Some of them have themes (ie. one for each of my children) and at least one is for anything that strikes my fancy. I have one from my wedding, one from out trip to Europe etc. If you enjoy looking at your scrapbook then it will never be considered 'junk' - they are your memories to be loved.

Any doctor would rather that you called them with concerns rather than worry about them. Especially with a newborn I would call the office for an appointment. Most offices either keep one or two spots open for emergencies or will fit you in regardless of their schedules. Personally, if I was worried about one of my babies I'd call right away so that she would get medical care immediately or the...

Essie119 responded to a discussion called Ever lost a library book? in life.
I've never lost a book, but I did drop one in a puddle and have to pay for it. They charged $10 for it - they have a set fee for all their books. So much for a paperback, so much for a hardcover etc. It's a good thing that I read the book before I dropped it or I would have been annoyed to pay for a book that I hadn't even read!

Don't you just love Michaels? There are so many fun supplies - papers and embellishments and punches etc. My husband is starting to groan when I say that Michaels is having a sale!

Essie119 commented in a discussion called What books do you remember from your childhod? in reading.

That one isn't ringing a bell. Now that I have children I'll be checking out some of those old books and hoping that the library here has some of the old classic children's literature. I have my own copy of Anne of Green Gables and just bought my daughter a copy of her own (she'll be two at the end of the month, but I figure she'll grow into it)!

We didn't have a television when I was growing up so I remember a lot of books. We went to the library at least once each week. I read Anne of Green Gables, Amelia Bedelia and many of the different Enid Blyton series. When I was little I loved the Little Noddy books.

Mini-books

Does anyone like doing the little 8 - 12 page scrapbooks? Since my kids are so little sometimes I do these for their grandparents and aunts. They always seem to be a welcome present.
