I feel the best way is to give up your desires. If I had found a way to do that I would let you all know, but currently I just try to avoid material things as much as possible. The reason I say that giving up your desires will allow you to be happy is that there is no disappointment this way.

I like the idea that we don't need celbrities to tell us what to buy and that a large company has said it. That being said I think for a company as large as pepsi this could be a good move. They are highly established and thier products are pretty much everywhere. If this were a small or developing company, I would have to say that it was a bad move, out of sight out of mind would definatly app...

People act this way out of immaturity and/or jealousy. The best thing I can tell you is that it is impossible to please everyone, especially all the time. Give yourself a break. Try to please everyone will just end in your unhappiness.
