Wow, good for you! I have never used a drill in my life, don't have one so have had to be very resourceful since....well I've pretty much always done most of the DIY things round the home but do more of them now I'm on my own. I don't mind though, and it does make you feel proud of yourself, doesn't it!

I find singing and music in general to be a great outlet as there are so many types of music for whatever mood you're experiencing at any given time. You make a very valid point about not letting other peoples' opinions hold us back, easier said than done as it may be!
