"Happiness is only real when shared." This quote was from the movie Into The Wild and I've been thinking about this recently. I think it's quite true. There was a time in my life when I was very solitaire and wasn't social but after opening up a bit, I can really relate to this. So how have you related to this quote?

So after my marriage ended, I haven't talked with my ex since. And it wasn't a peaceful break up either. It's been almost 3 years and my therapist still suggests it to obtain 'closure'. But I don't really see it benefiting me.. and also I'm scared. What can happen? What can not happen? Have you had similar experiences? What were they like? Thoughts?

I don't think time will solve anything and it just goes on. Usually it wont make it better but sometimes it doesn't make things worse.

I don't think it is arrogance because everyone deserves to be happy and free. I can understand that you want to be alone and it's a healthy thing. Living with too many people always causes problems. But for me, the one thing I want in life is courage to travel on my own. I want to see the whole world but am afraid to do it by myself.

Actually, you make a good point since I don't mix with some people as well. And usually, it's not so bad being alone but for some reason, today, my mind is going negative I guess. I guess it's just one of those days and tomorrow may be anew day. thanks for your words.

Buahaha, that's a great idea... we can make bank from this! Anyways, thanks for the encouragement, please let your mom know she's not alone! I think I'll go find a good book to read after this and read outside in nature.
