Plants that deer won't eat; what are they?

I am getting ready to plant some flowers. But since I have a deer problem, I need to know what to plant; something that deer won't eat! Any ideas?

MrBrownThumb Probably the only plants deer won't eat would be plastic ones. If they're hungry enough and don't have plants from their natural diet available they will make due with plants in your garden.

At the moment i've taken cuttings of plants and other plants in other peoples gardens.I've set them up in a propergator and waiting on yhem rooting,as you know this is a good way of saving money and maximising your own...

MrBrownThumb Nasturtiums. They do great in poor soil have interesting leaves and come in a wide range of colors. Plus the leaves are edible.

MrBrownThumb You can also go on craigslist and post for free in the community section and get people who are local to you to trade with. I trade on gardenweb too and with people who visit my blog sometimes.

MrBrownThumb Depends on the seeds. I usually start them according to their needs. If they need stratification I start them now in the winter in little greenhouses I make from soda bottles. If they're tender or annuals I wait for a couple of week until it's closer to...

MrBrownThumb I know the feeling. Although I have a lot of houseplants, tender bulbs, cact and succulents so that you can enjoy that feeling indoors when the weather isn't so nice outside.
